Recent research shows that the scent of rosemary may improve speed and accuracy during mental tasks.
Breathe in the scent of fresh rosemary or essential oil at the start of your day or before beginning a project. Consider buying or even better picking fresh rosemary and keeping a small bowl near your work space. Simply crush or twist the delicate leaves to release the smell. You can use it again later by incorporating it into your meals for a healthy and tasty boost or by drinking it as a tea.
Rosemary is thought to be a rich source of antioxidants and anti-inflammatory compounds- these are thought to help boost the immune system and improve blood circulation.
In Europe rosemary is often used to help treat indigestion Germany's Commission E has approved it for the treatment of dyspepsia. However, it should be noted that there is currently no meaningful scientific evidence to support this claim
Please seek advise before using if you are using medication for blood clots or that aid in the thinning of blood, blood pressure tablets, lithium (for depression), or drugs which are diuretics (increase the production and passing of urine).
